Beautiful! Roasted beets and sweet potatoes are my absolute favorite things in the world, and I am sure that miso-maple dressing makes them taste even better ❤️

In reply to Berta. What a lovely way of putting it... I admit that I am not really a mean person, nor am I especially witty, so you're right - words are rarely my WEAPON to hurt. But if we think of a weapon as "a means of gaining an advantage or defending oneself in a conflict or contest," as Google tells me it can be, then words are definitely my weapon. They are my shroud and cloak, my way of building walls - but also bridges. And they're the only way I know to get ahead. So I guess they are a weapon nonetheless :)

To say that words are your weapon seems a bit harsh - from what I've read on this blog, they seem to be more of a paintbrush, a paintbrush with which you teach your culinary secrets, tell intriguing stories and share kindness! 🙂
