<p>Hello, Susan! Thanks for your kind words, and the clarification! I am aware of quinoa's seed-like status, which is why I <em>love</em> using it <a href="https://immigrantstable.com/2015/05/27/quinoa-fritters-veggie-burger/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">in recipes</a>. But it seems like quinoa is a <a href="http://ultimatepaleoguide.com/is-quinoa-paleo-a-deep-dive/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">paleo no-no</a> for a few <a href="http://ultimatepaleoguide.com/is-quinoa-paleo-a-deep-dive/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">other reasons</a>... While I stopped having sugar cravings (and boy was I having those after the holidays), I started having some serious carb cravings towards the end of the month (and wasn&#039;t feeling my best). I remember caving a few days early and having some buckwheat - which was ok, because I think my body was telling me something.
