William says
I like many of the recipes but what were marked as different had the same recipes in them that was a bit disappointing. My Mom-Mom made this desert and I didn't see how she did it and I can't find the recipe for it. She made baked custard apples with rasins and cinnamon in the cored apples sitting in vanilla custard served warm to hot. It always pops into my head when seeing old recipes pop up. My other Grandmother made the best apple pie and I helped her used to love how some apple slices would get stuck to the top crust. Probably was soo good because it was liberaly dotted with gobs of butter before putting the top crust on.

Look the youngest "boomer" is 63. We are not "hording" recipes, you just aren't interested in making them! I tell you what we are thinking about, how to live on $1000 a month in social security, how to pay $1500 every ninety days for a heart medication no longer covered by medicare. That is what we care about, not some ageist crap using "boomer" as the dog whistle!
